About
Jennifer Bergheiser brings over fifteen years of experience in the life science and healthcare industries, spanning strategy, new product development, venture capital, business development, and operations/general management.
Prior to founding hatch health, Jennifer ran the US business of a European-owned research consultancy. Her biopharmaceutical operating experience includes strategic marketing for the blockbuster injectable Stelara® and other biologics at Johnson & Johnson as well as business development for a venture-backed start-up in the specialty arena. Prior to transitioning to the operating side, Jennifer served as a member of the investment team at a leading healthcare venture capital firm, Domain Associates. While there, she led the evaluation of numerous prospective investments in pharmaceutical, biotech, and med device companies. She was involved in investments in ESP Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Protein Design Labs), Proxima Therapeutics (acquired by Cytyc Corporation), and TargetRx (acquired by ImpactRx).
Jennifer began her career as a strategy consultant in the Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Strategy practice at Accenture.
She holds a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History from the University of Pennsylvania.
